Our Ei Electronics Ei166RC smoke detector started to go off at random intervals, we have 3 smoke detectors that are connected up on a wired interlink, i.e. so if one goes off they all go off.
When attempting to find a replacement however, it turns out the Ei Electronics have discontinued the Ei166RC, however they have provided the Ei3016 as a direct replacement which is compatible with smoke detectors that were compatible with the Ei166RC and does not require you to replace the existing base, you can just click in the Ei3016 into place.
