I had an issue where my Google Chrome kept on signing me out of my profile every time I closed the browser. Now, there may be a few reasons for this, and you may even want this as a desired approach, but in my case I didn’t want it logging me out of the profile each time.
After some fiddling around I eventually found it was the “Clear Cookies and Site Data when you close all windows” setting under the “Privacy and Security” options that was the cause, turning this off meant your Google Profile stays logged in between sessions.
However it is worth noting that periodically the cookie will time out and require you to authenticate again, but that’s a good thing!
