It flattened out the ADSL and caused lots of problems, first job was to click the &#8220;disable outbound mail&#8221; button in the Exchange System Manager under queues. Then temporarily close port 25 on the firewall for inbound and outbound mail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then you can manually remove the mails from all the queues but that would take ages instead I used a program called aqadmcli.exe to clear it all out quickly from the CLI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All sent by mailshot@mydomain.co.uk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stopped port 25 inbound and outbound on the Firewall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Run aqadmcli.exe from a command line with the following syntax to delete all messages from all queues:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>setserver &#8220;myservername&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>delmsg flags=all<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Or you can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Run aqadmcli.exe from a command line with the following syntax to delete all messages from a specific sender address:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>setserver &#8220;myservername&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>delmsg flags=sender,sender=mailshot@mydomain.co.uk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can download aqadmcli.exe from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ftp:\/\/ftp.microsoft.com\/pss\/Tools\/Exchange%20Support%20Tools\/Aqadmcli\/aqadmcli.exe<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I had some amusement when someone tried sending a 1MB email to 400 people and the server was set for direct delivery.
