But what if you want to have multiple Kubernetes clusters to play around with? You can use Minikube to start multiple clusters and then switch between them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Create Two Clusters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let&#8217;s create two clusters, we&#8217;re also going to be setting the CPU, memory and disk size that is available to them, you can choose whatever figures you like for these.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>minikube start --cpus=4 --memory=8192 --disk-size=100g -p cluster1\nminikube start --cpus=4 --memory=8192 --disk-size=100g -p cluster2<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Swap Between Clusters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To swap between clusters all you need to do is run one of the commands:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>minikube profile cluster1\n\nor \n\nminikube profile cluster2<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Examine Cluster Profiles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To see what cluster profiles you have, you can use:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>minikube profile list<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"872\" height=\"143\" src=\"https:\/\/geekmungus.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/image-3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/geekmungus.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/image-3.png 872w, https:\/\/geekmungus.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/image-3-300x49.png 300w, https:\/\/geekmungus.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/image-3-768x126.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 872px) 100vw, 872px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you can see, I currently have two running clusters, one called hpa-cpu and one called minikube, using the above commands however you&#8217;d have two, one called cluster1 and one called cluster2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can also see which is active, therefore which your Kubectl commands will point to.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Minikube is a great way to play with Kubernetes clusters in a quick way.
