Now, there may be a few reasons for this, and you may even want this as a desired approach, but in my case I didn&#8217;t want it logging me out of the profile each time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After some fiddling around I eventually found it was the &#8220;Clear Cookies and Site Data when you close all windows&#8221; setting under the &#8220;Privacy and Security&#8221; options that was the cause, turning this off meant your Google Profile stays logged in between sessions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However it is worth noting that periodically the cookie will time out and require you to authenticate again, but that&#8217;s a good thing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"677\" src=\"https:\/\/geekmungus.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/image-1024x677.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3869\" srcset=\"https:\/\/geekmungus.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/image-1024x677.png 1024w, https:\/\/geekmungus.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/image-300x198.png 300w, https:\/\/geekmungus.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/image-768x508.png 768w, https:\/\/geekmungus.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/image.png 1168w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I had an issue where my Google Chrome kept on signing me out of my profile every time I closed the browser.
